Description

The Federal Government published new Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations (the Regulations) that will come into force on January 1, 2021, along with related amendments to the Canada Labour Code under Bill C-65 (the Act). Amendments to the Canada Labour Code (the Code) will significantly expand the obligations of federally regulated employers with respect to preventing and responding to harassment and violence in the workplace.

In partnership with Ryley Learning, LifeWorks Learning is offering an eLearning course that educates employees on how to identify and report workplace sexual harassment. Training is critical for businesses of all types and sizes – not only to meet legal requirements, but also to protect an organization’s reputation and show employees they are valued and respected.

With training, the risk of incidents is reduced when prohibited conduct is understood by employees. Allegations can impair brand reputation and employee morale, and in the face of allegations, training can limit corporate liability and show that leadership values a safe workplace

Structure

This online eLearning course uses graphics, animations, and interactive elements to provide a fast-paced, interactive learning experience. Follow true-to-life characters in a range of animated scenarios as employees and managers witness, experience, and address workplace sexual harassment. Interactive, gamified activities ensure the message sinks in.

This course is available in an interactive format that ensures learning sinks in, accessible via mobile, desktop or tablet, and meets anti-harassment regulations.
