The COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on our mental well-being. This seminar reviews recent research findings on how the pandemic has contributed to increased alcohol consumption, job stress, and symptoms of common mental health disorders. Participants will review how these symptoms can impact the workplace, and learn practical skills to improve their mental well-being through self-awareness, practicing resilience strategies, strengthening connections with social networks, and accessing help when needed.

Structure

An hour-long instructor-led training session that combines course elements with a variety of engaging elements such as questions and answers, group discussions, as well as chat functionality when it is delivered virtually.
